Firefighting and Rescue Drill in 2023 at AMECC GT Joint Stock Company

To effectively carry out fire prevention and firefighting tasks in compliance with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Law and enhance coordination in strategic command, technical firefighting, and rescue operations between professional firefighting forces and grassroots units, on December 29th, 2023, AMECC GT Joint Stock Company collaborated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department of An Lão District, Hai Phong, to conduct a firefighting and rescue drill. The drill was attended by the company's leadership team, members of the local firefighting and rescue team, and a large number of employees.

Prior to this, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department of An Lão District had disseminated fire prevention methods and deployed firefighting teams, outlining fire handling procedures to the company's staff

When the hypothetical fire situation occurred, the company's firefighting team initiated alarm procedures, cut off power to the affected area, contacted the local firefighting and rescue team, dialed emergency number 114 for the Fire Department, and informed the district police. The firefighting and rescue team utilized on-site firefighting equipment such as CO2 extinguishers, dry chemical powder extinguishers, the building's water-based firefighting system, unraveled hoses, assembled nozzles, connected hoses, and opened water valves to extinguish the fire. They simultaneously operated the building's fire pump system. Meanwhile, the on-site team also conducted rescue operations, providing initial aid to the injured and relocating property from the fire-affected area.
 

Additionally, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department of An Lão District dispatched one fire truck, one rescue vehicle, one specialized pump truck, and police officers to collaborate with the on-site firefighting team. They swiftly deployed, utilized water hoses, and elevated rescue ladders to rescue individuals trapped on higher floors of the building. After nearly 30 minutes, the simulated fire was successfully contained and completely extinguished. All affected individuals were successfully rescued
 

Succeeding the drill, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department of An Lão District, along with the company's leadership team and the on-site firefighting and rescue team, conducted an evaluation meeting. The drill was meticulously prepared and executed with absolute seriousness, ensuring safety and compliance with technical requirements. The on-site firefighting and rescue team demonstrated adeptness, agility, and harmonious coordination with the professional firefighting forces
